All welcome in my blog and today we have a new project called Datum.

Datum is an ecosystem designed to work with user data. Using Datum, all your actions on the Internet will be stored, later unloaded from your device, encrypted, and eventually sent to a high-performance distributed storage. The project participants independently choose the path of your personal data, while some projects sell them without your knowledge, you can put them in a “digital safe”, or in this way earn money on specially prepared trading floors, this distinguishes this ecosystem, highlighting it in the best way on the background of the others, having deservedly gained the trust of users.

Who’s Behind Datum?

The concept for Datum began in September 2016, with the whitepaper and concept validation launching in June 2017. The pre-sale is taking place throughout August, and the token sale is taking place between September and October 2017.

The company is led by CEO and Co-Founder Roger Haenni, who also co-founded StockX, SwissInvest, PCP.ch, and Kosi. Other key members of the team include Gebhard Scherrer (Operations, Co-Founder), and VC Tran (Marketing, Co-Founder).

Altogether, the team has over 80 years of experience building large scale data processing and management systems. The company is based in Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

We leaf through the news feed and are active in the social network. networks; receive a huge amount of information on the Internet; spend leisure time on the Internet, watching a movie or reading a book; we use mobile applications, for example, we play games, and we also perform other actions with the help of our devices. And now imagine that from this you can get more and benefit, earning a decent amount, doing nothing, this can only be dreamed of! Please note that the security of your data is guaranteed by the ecosystem, and you yourself determine which data will be sold. They can be impersonal, that is, nothing will be known about the user, or with the transfer of personal data.

For the provision of personal data, Datum will pay you its currency — DAT tokens. This works as follows: the project participant provides its data to the storage node, providing disk space and providing high-speed access to its information, and the node resells it to the customer, via DAT tokens. All this happens quickly, and most importantly, honestly, as the sale of data is carried out under the terms of the project’s smart contract.

Datum will take user data based on activity in social networks and the Internet, mobile application data, consumer gadget data, Internet of things and other devices. In Datum, all this information will periodically be unloaded from the user’s devices, encrypted and sent to high-performance distributed storage. Then the user decides what to do with their own data: put them on storage or sell them in an impersonal form on a specialized trading floor.
Datum will provide users with a mobile application to manage content downloaded into the store.

Datum Services

Each part of the data in the Datum network will be marked by the conditions of their use.
Thus, the user (data source) can control how his data can be used. The terms of use are controlled by the DAT marker
smart contract. The user based on the smart contract will have full control over who can communicate with, and make privacy settings. For example:
1. Share by default.
2. Share with specific, identified and known consumers of data
3. Share with specific, identified and known consumers data for a minimum fee.
4. Share with everyone.
5. Share with everyone for a minimum fee
